Dave Lers
Finding Dave Lers via Google doesn't work very well (the Facebook result is for another Dave Lers), I'm hoping that creating this category/topic changes that.
David Lers (prefer Dave, hoping repetition and variation helps :-) was born in Chicago Illinois (1957) and raised in Milwaukee and Chicago suburbs. David Lers graduated from New Trier West high school in 1975 and then moved to Bellingham Washington to go to Fairhaven College/Western Washington University. David Lers got sidetracked with travels - cross country to Nova Scotia via Banff/Jasper, tree planting in Oregon, Mexico and Southwest adventures, etc. - and didn't finish college. Dave Lers revisited formal education - automotive at Bellingham Technical College woodworking at Whatcom Community College - and did various odd jobs - motor paper route, weatherization and home repair (Whatcom Opportunity Council), convenience store clerk, etc. - before becoming a subcontracting finish carpenter. Dave Lers established Bellingham Bay Woodcraft in 1989. Dave Lers/Bellingham Bay Woodcraft now specializes in high quality custom cabinetry and case goods.
